WEST YELLOWSTONE SHOOTING SPORTS ASSOCIATION is a members only shooting range located 3 miles south of West Yellowstone, MT. WYSSA hosts public shooting days, Hunter Safety Education field days, the Mountain Man Rendezvous Shoot, and other events and classes. WYSSA is available for special events, please contact us for information. The range is open from May 1- Nov. 20, depending on snowpack.
The range offers rifle, handgun, shotgun and archery shooting.
The rifle range has 11 shooting benches including an ADA compliant bench, 4 that are covered, with 50, 100 and 200 yard target boards.
The handgun range has 4 shooting benches with 5, 10 and 25 yard target boards.
For shotgunners, there is a full trap shooting range operating most Sundays during the summer at 12:30 pm and Wednesdays at 5:00 pm. Check the Calendar for the days you are interested in trap shooting.
The archery range has target butts from 10-100 yards, along with turkey, bear and elk 3D targets.
The range also has an ADA compliant restroom.
